Kurinji Pandiyan, Ph.D.
Chief Strategy and Operations Officer
Kurinji Pandiyan, Ph.D., is a seasoned biotech executive who brings extensive experience in shaping strategy, guiding end-to-end development across therapeutic areas—including inflammation and autoimmune diseases—and providing operational leadership. Most recently, Kurinji served on the Executive Committee of Poseida Therapeutics, Inc. (now part of the Roche–Genentech Group) as Head of Portfolio & Strategy and Chief of Staff to the CEO, where she orchestrated the autoimmune disease development plan that culminated in a successful acquisition.
Prior to Poseida, Kurinji held leadership roles in Corporate Development and Global Commercial Strategy, as well as program leadership, at Atara Biotherapeutics. She also led program strategy and execution for dermatology programs at AVITA Medical. Earlier in her career, she served as a Principal at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she advised numerous biopharma companies on commercial and R&D strategy, corporate development, as well as organizational effectiveness and transformation.
Dr. Pandiyan holds a Ph.D. in Human Genetics & Molecular Biology from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
