Matt Robbins, J.D.

Matt Robbins is a seasoned legal executive with extensive experience advising biotechnology companies on corporate governance, securities law, compliance, financings, strategic transactions, and intellectual property matters. 

From 2021 to July 2026, Matt served as General Counsel of Bright Peak Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing immunotherapies with dual headquarters in San Diego, California and Basel, Switzerland, where he led the legal function. From 2012 to 2021, Matt was a corporate and securities associate at Cooley LLP, where he represented public and private life sciences and technology companies. Before attending law school, he worked at Deloitte & Touche, where he advised clients on internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Matt received his J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
