Renuka Sivendran, Ph.D.

Renuka Sivendran, Ph.D. joined Imagene in 2025, bringing deep technical expertise in chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC). Dr. Sivendran most recently served as Vice President of Technical Operations at Agenus, an immuno-oncology company developing multiple types of modalities, where she led all the CMC development functions since January 2021. She has also held roles of increasing responsibility leading CMC development at Five Prime Therapeutics, Amgen, and Regeneron.
Renuka obtained her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the Millersville University of Pennsylvania, her Ph.D. in biophysics from the University of Massachusetts, and she did her postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health.
